Former two division champion Amir Khan has fired back at his domestic rival Kell Brook. Following Saturday night's twelve round domination of Matthew Hatton, Brook and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, continued to challenge and taunt Khan for a fight in the near future. Brook said that he proved Khan wrong, claiming the Bolton boxer favored the quality of Hatton. He later told Khan he would "smash him" in the ring.
Khan answered back, advising Brook to earn his payday by fighting worthy competiton.
"Why does Kelly Brook call me out? He needs to up his game if he wants a payday shot against me. At least fight someone in the top 50," Khan countered.
