Former champion Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) is targeting a ring return in early December, with several options being considered. The two most likely, at the moment, appear to be Robert Guerrero and Devon Alexander. Andre Berto has also been mentioned, but Khan says a fight with him is the least likely because the two fo them train together under Virgil Hunter.

Khan made his welterweight debut in May on the Mayweather-Maidana undercard. He won a twelve round unanimous decision over former WBA champion Luis Collazo. Now the British fighter hopes to secure another significant win with the idea of securing his dream fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2015. Mayweather has a rematch with Maidana on September 13th.

"For December we're looking at a few names, the likes of Alexander, Guerrero. Berto has also been mentioned but we train together, so that would be quite hard. I like Berto, he's a good friend of mine. But I'm one of those guys - I'll never say 'no' to a fight. I'll take whoever they decide to put me against," Khan told The Daily Telegraph.

"A fight in the first week or second week of December would be ideal. I'd like it to be in England, but there's a lot of talk that it may be in Dubai. I'm just going to let Al Haymon [Khan's adviser] and the team, Golden Boy, give me a few options and I'll take it from there."
