Undefeated UK prospect Amir Khan (9-0, 7KOs), 19-years-old, appreared for a brief hearing at Bolton Magistrates' Court. Khan is being charged with dangerous driving, with a claim that he hit a pedestrian in March while driving his BMW at a high speed, breaking the man's leg in the process.
Khan was arrested in June over the incident. Khan denied the charge of dangerous driving at his most recent court appearance. The case was adjourned until November 3 for a plea management hearing.
Former champion Naseem Hamed, one of Khan's idols, recently spent 16 weeks in jail over similiar charges.
The youngster Khan is 2004 Olympics silver medalist.
