At the ExCel Arena in London, lightweight superstar Amir Khan (19-1, 15KOs) returned to the ring for the first time since a 54-seconds knockout loss to Breidis Prescott, and crushed Oisin Fagan (22-5) in two rounds. After getting Fagan in trouble in the first round with two knockdowns, Khan blasted him with a variety of punches in the second round to force the referee to step in as Fagan's corner was throwing in the towel.

Following the loss to Prescott, Khan hooked up with American based trainer Freddie Roach and trained with Manny Pacquiao at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. He says the training with Roach and Pacquiao gave him more confidence and made him a much better fighter. He wants a rematch with Prescott in 2009.
