Canada's Leila Beaudoin, 13-0-1 (2 KOs) makes her ring walk ahead of her first major title shot. What an opportunity it is, as she challenges lineal, WBA, IBF and WBO 130lbs champion Alycia Baumgardner.
An upset win by Beaudoin will provide a lift for her home nation. IBF 105lbs titlist Kim Clavel currently serves as Canada's only major titleholder.
Baumgardner attempts her seventh overall title defense, though her first without the WBC belt that she won in a November 2021 knockout of Terri Harper. She's gone the distance in all but one defense - the lone exception being her No-Contest with former 135lbs titlist Delfine Persoon when a clash of heads ended their bout inside of four rounds.
