Jose Reynoso, manager of unbeaten welterweight Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, is expecting a possible war in Las Vegas. Alvarez appears on the HBO pay-per-view undercard on the Floyd Mayweather-Shane Mosley undercard on May 1. The opponent will be the once-beaten Jose Miguel Cotto (31-1-1, 23 KOs), older brother of two-division champion Miguel Cotto.

Reynoso said they are taking no chances with Cotto. Alvarez and company will be traveling to Las Vegas on April 17. Former champion Oscar Larios will be joining the team to help Alvarez prepare in camp.

"We want Saul to acclimate quickly to the environment in Las Vegas and finished his training there. We want everything to run smooth," Reynoso said to The Record.

Reynoso expects a fight filled with a lot of contact. He thinks Alvarez will knock Cotto out.

"We believe that we'll win by knockout and that would be the cherry on top of our cake, but we're confident that we will win in any way possible. Cotto is not an easy opponent and he only lost. We believe because of the styles of 'Canelo' and Cotto, you can expect a lot because we always come forward and that tells us the fight can be spectacular," Reynoso said.
