Taking every opportunity gained as a result of Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao’s exciting breakthrough in boxing in the US, another fighter from the ALA Gym of respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer, Along Denoy, will make his US debut at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on May 20.

Denoy will be joined by WBO Asia Pacific super featherweight champion Czar Amonsot who will be making his second appearance on a Guilty Promotions card in the boxing capital of the world. Amonsot scored a bloody eight round decision over hard-hitting Christian Favela of Mexico last February 3 where newly-crowned OPBF super flyweight champion Z “The Dream” Gorres scores a masterful ten round decision over another Mexican Jose Alfredo Tirado in the main event.

Denoy is coming off a sixth round knockout win over Jun Eraham last February 3. Denoy overwhelmed Eraham in the early rounds before putting him away in the sixth. Amonsot on the other hand scored a lopsided ten round decision over Thailand’s Decho Bankluaygym at the Mandaue City sports complex last March 18.

Guilty Boxing  president Nick Rattena was impressed by the initial showing of Amonsot and Gorres in their Las Vegas promotion and said fight fans wanted to see more Filipino boxers in action.

Denoy and Amonsot are scheduled to leave for the US in the last week of April and are expected to train at the Wild Card Gym of celebrated trainer Freddie Roach who had earlier told Viva Sports/Manila Standard that Amonsot had potential and was learning fast.

Well known promoter and boxing manager Sammy Gello-ani said “Filipino boxers are
in demand in the US and we only heeded the request of Guilty Boxing to bring more Filipino boxers to the US since they saw how popular the boys were when they fought in Las Vegas.
