Filet Mignon and Shrimp Scampi will be on the menu along with professional boxing as All Star Boxing returns for it's next edition of "Battle of the Rising Stars" November 10th at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello.  All fans in attendance will be served a steak and shrimp dinner which also comes with a dinner salad and dessert.  Headlining the show will be Cleotis "Mookie" Pendarvis (5-1-1), who last September battled David Rodela to a crowd pleasing 8 round draw in a state jr. welterweight title bout.  The 20 year old southpaw will again be tested, this time by the tough Jair Aguiar (6-5), from Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico, in a 6 round jr. welterweight bout.

In a "fight of the night" candidate, two fighters who have talent but have taken many fights against opponents with superior records will meet in what should be an action packed bout.  Juan Carlos Santiago (8-8-4) will face Noe Inzunza (7-11-1) in a 6 round featherweight fight.  Both fighters have a good chance of winning as both have reputations of always being tough and in shape, making them good tests for up and coming prospects.

Bantamweight prospect Manuel Roman (9-0) will face Felipe Rivas (4-4-1) in a 6 round bout.  Roman has shown that he has a promising future and Rivas has gone the distance against the likes of Giovanni Segura (15-0) and Austreberto Juarez (8-0).

More matchups to be announced soon.

IBF/WBC Super Bantamweight Champion Israel Vasquez will be the guest of honor for the evening.  Vasquez is managed by Frank Espinoza, who also manages the aforemention Manuel Roman.

Dinner ticket prices are $125 and $100.  Call (323) 781-4871 for more information or to reserve tickets.  The Quiet Cannon is located off the Garfield/Wilcox exit immediately south of the 60 Pomona freeway, just minutes east of the 710 Long Beach freeway, on the grounds of the Montebello Golf Course.
