On the 18th of June at the Centre Claude-Robillard in Montreal, as part of the event UGC 27, Ali Nestor Charles (10-5-2) will try to get his hands on the WBC Latino super middleweight crown by facing the veteran Mexican boxer and Los Angeles resident, Edgar Ruiz (22-9-1), 38, who has held the belt in 2010. Note that Ruiz lost by knock out in 1:30 over Kevin Bizier in his last fight at the Bell Centre in February.
Also, the NABA champion at super featherweight Arash Usmanee (13-0-0), and Tony Luis (11-0-0), will face rivals to be confirmed. For his part, prospect Roody Pierre-Paul (2-0-0) will face Josue Cortes (4-5-1) of Mexico.
