Mexico's top junior middleweight contender Alfredo "Perro" Angulo (19-1, 16 KO's) is hungry to return to the ring. Angulo has been inactive since last July's win over Joachim Alcine. A huge issue with his United States work visa has prevented him from fighting in America. Angulo says he is ready to fight at any time, and in any country, but promoters are not giving him the opportunities. Angulo is hoping to sort out his visa situation and get back in the ring very soon.

"The request I made to get the visa was approved. I'm hoping the consulate will finish the application process. It was not easy for someone in the consulate to review the application. The hardest thing is when people ask me, 'when are you going to fight' Canelo 'or Chavez Jr?', and I feel limited because promoters are not giving me fights and I can [fight] anywhere in the world except the United States," Angulo told Sal Rodriguez. "I want to be a world champion and show the children what they can achieve by working hard."
