Undefeated Cuban super bantamweight Alexei Collado (15-0, 14 KO’s) recently arrived in America and he immediately join the Acquinity Sports team owned by the CEO Gary Jonas and promoter Henry Rivalta.
Collado has played out his entire career in Ireland. He turned pro on September 13, 2008 against Krastan Krastanov at The Neptune Sports Arena, in Cork, Ireland. Collado beat Krastanov by knockout in the second round. After he faced Laurent Ucritinel Balmau on January 17th 2009 - Collado got a line of 11 victories by TKO & KO and this line stopped in his last fight against Franklin Varela when Collado won by unanimous decision on October 14th.
"We are very happy about coming to Miami, finally meeting my family and this is great for my career as a pro. And, the training rhythm here is different. In Europe I never saw something like that. I am working very hard, day by day, to get in great shape for my next fight. We hope to fight in America as soon as possible....maybe in early February," said Collado.
Promoter Henry Rivalta thinks Collado will turn into a company star very soon.
“He has an enormous talent. He is a very skilled fighter and has speed and power in both hands to accomplish great things in his division. We are working to put Collado in some fights in 2013. We are excited to see all of his talent in America."
