Manager Vladimir Hryunov has revealed to Russian outlets that heavyweight Alexander Povetkin (21-0, 15KOs) is doing well in training, but the 2004 Olympic Gold medal winner is not sparring for the moment. Povetkin injured his right hand during December's ten round decision victory over Nicolai Firtha. Povetkin's training progress is moving very carefully to avoid re-injuring the right hand. The month of April was going to be the possible return period. Now it seems either May or June is more likely.
