Russian heavyweight Alexander Povetkin will step into the ring on December, 5. The boxer, who is ranked first in the IBF rating, will fight in Germany on a Sauerland Event show. The opponent of Povetkin is yet to be announced.
Now the undefeated heavyweight trains in Chekhov, Russia under his trainer Teddy Atlas.
“We hope this stage of our preparation will be as successful as the training camp in the USA" - told Povetkin’s manager Wladimir Hryunov to Pro-Box.ru. – "Povetkin is full of enthusiasm, it’s always interesting to work with Atlas, and when Sasha feels that he is improving, he works much harder – which is something he lacked a bit in his last bouts. His sparring-partners have already arrived to Chekhov, one of them is from the USA”.
