WBA "regular" world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (23-0, 16 KOs) has a lot of challengers lining up to face him. Within an hour after knocking out Cedric Boswell on Saturday night in Helsinki, Povetkin was challenged by popular WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-1, 25 KOs). Povetkin's next fight is likely against the WBA's mandatory contender, 39-year-old former two-time champion Hasim Rahman (50-7-2, 41 KOs).

One possible opponent for the near future that Povetkin mentioned to Alexander Pavlov, is British/Commonwealth champion Tyson Fury (17-0, 12KOs)

[In the future I want a fight] with Tyson Fury from the UK. It would be the kind of fight that I would take before a clash with [Wladimir] Klitschko," Povetkin said.
