Kirill Pchelnikov's Pushka Promotions (in association with the Ultimatum Promotions) continued their recent activities with the second installment in less than a week by staging a nice-packed little card in Gomel, Belarus.
In the main event, Russian cruiserweight Alexander Kubich (8-0, 5 KOs) got his best career win by knocking out rugged Ugandan veteran Joey Vegas (17-12-2, 10 KOs) in the third round. Vegas looked better and sharper in the opening round and a subsequent one but was finished off with a single body shot, which had him down and out for several painful minutes.

Undercard:
Maxim Sirota's combined record of the opponents was 1-18-1, coming into his fight with experienced, upset-minded Russian Sergey Beloshapkin, whose record was twelve times better - 12-18-1, 4 KOs. Beloshapkin has almost pulled it this time as well, losing just barely with a split decision over six rounds. Sirota, tested for the first time, is now 8-0, 6 KOs.
Fighting through visible pain, former fringe super bantamweight and featherweight contender Andrey Isaev (29-5, 9 KOs) lost the first couple of rounds against recent Tajik debutant Firdous Azzimjonov (1-2) but managed to get a decision win over six.
In the best fight of the night, local hero Kirill Samodurov improved to 5-0, 2 KOs, with a terrific stoppage of Moscow-based Uzbek Izzat Ibragimov (2-4, 1 KO) in the fifth round. Ibragimov was also down in the third.
Also, Dmitry Miliusha (5-0, 1 KO) dominated Moscow-based Cameroonian Valere Essomba Ngono (1-9) over six. Ngono was rocked several times but never went down.
