Lightweight contender Alex Arthur is planning to return on the undercard of Ricky Burns's first defense of the WBO super featherweight title on December 4 at the Braehead Arena. Burns will face Andreas Evensen. Arthur's opponent has not been determined yet.

The card could be another building block to a huge Scottish showdown between Burns and Arthur. Bacin in February 2006, Arthur decisioned Burns and later went on to win the same belt that Burns captured from Roman Martinez a few months ago. After their fight was over, Arthur said he knew that Burns would one day become a champion.

"Right after we fought I told Ricky he would win a world championship if he stuck to his guns and he’s went on to achieve it. We had a great fight over 12 rounds and the minute the bell rang I told Ricky he would be a champion one day,” Arthur said to STV.
