Former WBO super featherweight champ Alex Arthur says that his promoter Frank Warren has promised him a crack at the winner of Marco Antonio Barrera-Amir Khan, taking place on March 14 in Manchester. Arthur makes his debut at lightweight on March 27. If Khan wins, who is also promoted by Warren, a clash with Arthur is possible, but I don't see Barrera going in that direction. The Mexican legend is looking for the biggest money fights possible and Arthur is not one of those fights.

"I am a motivational fighter so I was delighted when Frank told me. I don't care who wins as I'm confident that I'd beat either of them,” Arthur told Setanta Sports.

”I think I would punch too hard for Khan, whose frailty to big punches was exposed by Bredis Prescott on the undercard of my losing fight against Nicky Cook in Manchester. And, while most people would make me an underdog against Barrera, I think I could beat him too."
