While the DAZN broadcast team admired Matias' constant pressure, his corner was less impressed and called for the former titlist to sweep the final four rounds. Puello wouldn't have any of it and let loose a right hook and left hand to begin the round. Matias went to the body but also took a left hand upstairs. Puello returned to the jab any time he was able to create separation between the two. Matias came forward but was less effective as Puello scored with combinations. Another left hand landed for Puello, who enjoyed perhaps his best round of the fight.
