Puello used every inch of the ring to fend off an onrushing Matias. The bloodthirsty crowd booed the perceived lack of action, though Matias put an end to that with a flush right hand upstairs. Puello shot his jab and left hand from long range, but neither landed. Matias bullied Puello to the ropes but was warned for leading with his head. Puello circled to Matias' left but found his back against the ropes as Matias connected with right hands. Puello fire off a one-two but took a right hand in return.
