Albert Bell and Keith Hunter made weight for a regional lightweight grudge match, which takes place Saturday night at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio.
Bell of Toledo hit the scales at 134.5lbs, while Hunter of Las Vegas weighed in at a pound less at 133.5lbs, the lightest weight of his career.
Earlier this week, Bell, 27-0 (9 KOs), vowed to “Shut up” Hunter after pre-fight social media trash-talk. Bell, 32, will be fighting for the second time at lightweight after a long run at junior lightweight that saw him hold the WBO No.1 contender spot at one point. Bell won a 10-round unanimous decision over Josec Ruiz in April. That bout also took place in Toledo.
Hunter, 16-2 (10 KOs), enters the fight after knocking out David Reyes Cota in February. Hunter, 33, fought Rohan Polanco in 2023 at junior welterweight in a bout that he was stopped in. Hunter is the younger brother of 2012 U.S. Olympian Michael Hunter.
The fight will stream on millions.co.
