The annual Boxing Day (Dec 26) show in Berne, Switzerland will feature the pro debut of lightweight prospect Alain Chervet. The name should ring a bell and this is indeed a relative - a nephew - of the great flyweight Fritz Chervet, who held the EBU flyweight title in 72-73 and twice challenged for the WBC crown.
Alain takes on Siarhei Afonin in a scheduled six-rounder on this Boxing Kings promotion.
In the headliner female super flyweight Aniya Seki defends the WBC Silver and WIBF titles against Oksana Romanova from Ukraine.
Also on the bill are heavyweight Arnold "the Cobra" Gjergjaj and cruiser Nuri Seferi. Seferi face experienced Czech Lubos Suda, while Gjergjaj is in against Yuri Bihoutseu.
