Heavyweight Audley Harrison said that an air of desperation is revolving around his Feb. 17 bout with Michael Sprott at the Wembley Arena in England. After stopping rival Danny Williams with a dominating three round TKO in December, Harrison needs an impressive win over Sprott to move forward with his title plans.

"There's an air of desperation about me right now when I get in the ring," Harrison said The bottom line is that I've set my sights on a world title this year.

He knows that winning against Sprott is not enough. If he wants to build on the momentum of his recent win over Williams, he needs to look spectacular in the ring against Sprott.

"There are two parts to my business as a boxer, to support my family and to be an entertainer, and that is why it is important for me to build on the momentum I created (by beating Williams). It's important for me to win, and if I do what I'm supposed to do I'm going to win in a good fashion, but yes, there is an air of desperation," Harrison said. "By the end of the year I plan to get where I want to be, and that place is fighting for a world title."
