Super featherweight contender Adrien Broner (19-0, 16 KOs) told BoxingScene.com that he's ready to face either Jason Litzau (28-2, 21 KOs), or Daniel Ponce De Leon (41-2, 34 KOs), on March 5 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Golden Boy Promotions is attempting to match one of the two boxers against Broner in the HBO televised co-feature to Saul Alvarez-Matthew Hatton.
Broner is confident about his ability to stop either boxer early. He was less than impressed with Litzau's November upset of Celestino Caballero.
"I would crush him early. Both [Caballero and Litzau] are wild and slow. [Litzau] won't hit me with none of that stuff. I'll see him a mile away. I'll probably have a bigger workout in the entrance than the fight. I'm ready. I just fought on Saturday and as you can see I'm right back in the gym. [Ponce De Leon] would be the easiest opponent for me. He's too slow, his defense is terrible and his footwork is terrible. And both guys, their chins [are not good]," Broner told BoxingScene.com.
