Former three division champion Adrien Broner (30-1, 22KOs) was ringside at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, watching Danny Garcia (30-0, 17KOs) win a close twelve round majority decision over Lamont Peterson in the Premier Boxing Champions main event.
Broner is very close friends with Peterson and attended the event to support him. Following the fight, Broner jumped on the social networks to post a photo and a direct message to Garcia - challenging him to heal up and accept his challenge to step in the ring in September at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Both Garcia and Broner are listed in the junior welterweight ranks. Garcia looks to be moving up to the welterweight ranks - where Broner fought in 2013 and captured a world title before moving down to 140.
