Talks are ongoing for Adrian Hernandez (25-2-1, 16KOs) to defend his WBC junior flyweight title against Dirceu Cabarca (13-6, 5KOs) in early 2013. Promoters are looking at a January date, possibly in Mexico City or Toluca. Hernandez would make the first defense of the title he recaptured with a remtch TKO victory over tough Thai boxer Kompayak Porpramook last October.
