ADRIAN "Confessor" Hernandez, the world flyweight champion of the World Boxing Council, has already traveled out for the long 21 hour journey to Thailand, with a stopover in Frankfurt, Germany. On December 23rd, he defends the title in Bangkok against local favorite Kompayak Porpramook.
Hernandez spent a lot of time training in the high altitude region of the Otomi Ceremonial Center. He traveled over with his coach and former world champion Cesar Bazan and sparring partner Ricardo Sanchez.
The 25-year-old Mexican world champion is arriving with a record of 22-1 with 14 knockouts and one draw. Porpramook, 29-years-old, is a veteran with nearly double the fights on his record, but his competition has been lackluster. He has a record of 43-3 with 29 knockouts.
