Also 22 years. Herrera was born and raised in nearby Franklin Park, Illinois. Although he lost his first bout of 2011 on January 28th to Alex Deleon, Herrera bounced back strong with two big wins later in the year, a third round knockout of Eric Draper on May 20th followed by a six round decision win over Detroit based and much more experienced Robert Jones on September 23rd, both of which took place at the UIC Pavilion.
