Super featherweight banger Adrián Estrella (22-1, 20KOs) insists that Saturday's shocking second round knockout loss to Filipino Eden Sonsona was a bad day at the office, but he'll get up, sit down, do his homework and he'll learn from this, not allowing it to dent his confidence- and he WILL fulfill his ambition of becoming WBC world champion.
Adrian concedes defeat didn't cross his mind, but mused: “Every single fighter falls eventually. You must get up, learn and keep progressing.
“I think that his punch came during a moment in which I wasn't focused enough. I lost my head and then I paid a high prize for my overconfidence.”
For Adrian - losing his undefeated, unblemished record has proved a chastening experience, but it was also a timely wake up call. He's still utterly undaunted and totally focused on becoming a WBC champion.
