WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (24-1, 20KOs) is mapping out his career until mid-2015. Stevenson is going to return on September 27th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Stevenson had hoped to face IBF/WBA champion Bernard Hopkins. He received some bad news last Friday, when Hopkins finalized a November unification against WBO champion Sergey Kovalev.

The opponent has not been set for September, but Stevenson wants WBA 'regular' champion Juergen Braehmer (44-3, 32KOs) of Germany in December or January. If he wins his next two fights, he wants the winner of Hopkins-Kovalev.

"The next fight after September 27 is a unification with WBA champion Juergen Braehmer in December or January. After this fight, I will take on the winner between Hopkins and Kovalev," Stevenson said.
