The trainer of Tomasz Adamek, Ronnie Shields, wants his fighter to get a shot at WBA heavyweight champion David Haye. Shields is confident in his fighter's abilities after applying a perfect gameplan to win a twelve round decision over the much larger Chris Arreola last month in California. Haye is currently in talks for a shot at WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. If those talks fall apart, HBO has already expressed their interest in Haye-Adamek.

"If there is anyone out there that I want to see Tomasz fight right now, it would be David Haye. They are about the same size and I think that would be the best fight for him right now," Shields told BoxingScene.com's official radio show, Leave It In The Ring [debuts next week].

Shields has never watched Haye fight. He plans to study some tapes of the British fighter.

"To tell you the truth, I have never seen David Haye fight. I have to go and study tapes, just to see what he does. I've never seen him before so it's hard for me to answer that question right now [on strategy]. When I get the videotape, you have to break him down and put a gameplan together."
