David Benavidez has no shortage of HUGE fights on his radar. In an exclusive interview with BoxingScene, Jose Benavidez Sr. makes it clear that David still wants the biggest names at 175lbs including Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. Benavidez has previously said those are two fights he wants to make as he pursues more titles and major challenges. But there’s another name that could make things very interesting: Andy Ruiz Jr. Jose discusses the possibility of an all-Mexican showdown between Benavidez and the former heavyweight champion, along with David’s plans across multiple divisions. And with a potential Jai Opetaia showdown also building after the pair came face-to-face following Opetaia’s latest victory, Benavidez has some massive options ahead.

ProboxTV’s championship series is now on the ProBoxTV YouTube channel for $5/month.

Polish-born former light heavyweight (175 pounds) and cruiserweight (200 pounds) champion Tomasz Adamek, of Jersey City, N.J., will pursue his sixth straight win as a heavyweight during a run of 13 consecutive triumphs when he meets 6-foot-6, Ireland native and Mike Tyson-conqueror, Kevin McBride, of Brockton, Mass. Adamek-McBride, first reported by BoxingScene.com, will likely take place in April either in Katowice, Poland or, Newark, N.J., according to Adamek's promoter, Kathy Duva, of Main Events.
The 34-year-old Adamek, (43-1, 28 KOs) has not lost since February of 2007 when he was dethroned as WBC light heavyweight titlist by Chad Dawson. Although the 37-year-old McBride (35-8-1, 29 KOs) is most known for his sixth-round knockout victory over Tyson in June of 2005. In victory over McBride, Adamek will turn his sights on an already-signed deal for a September bout scheduled for a soccer stadium either in Warsaw or Wroclaw, Poland against one of the Ukrainian-born champion siblings -- 34-year-old Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KOs), of the IBF IBO and WBO, or his 39-year-old brother, Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38 KOs), of the WBC.
"I was on an airplane all day [Tuesday] coming back from Germany for meetings with the Klitschkos' people, and while I was there, they worked out the details with McBride. But we don't have the site in place yet. If it is in Poland, it will be on April 16. If it's in the United States, then it may take place on a different date," said Duva of Adamek-McBride.
"If it is in Poland, it will be in Katowice at the Spodek Arena. If it's here, it will be in Newark. But if it's in Newark, I have to go back and see if April 16 works or not," said Duva. "We just have to sit down tomorrow [Wednesday] and go over the plans of both deals and decide together what we're going to do."
