Boxing manager and trainer Adam Booth was impressed with James DeGale's nine round battering of British super middleweight champion Paul Smith on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. The title winning effort was the most impressive performance of DeGale's career. Even with the impressive win, Booth believes that his own super middleweight, George Groves, will still beat DeGale.

Booth feels DeGale is susceptible to pressure and Groves is a pressure fighter.

"It was a perfect performance for James. A great performance. It was exactly what I expected. James is the kind of guy who will never be easy to beat because of his styles and attributes. You are always going to have to be punch perfect and well prepared. George is a very good pressure fighter. It's a fight a fight that I want and a fight that where I'm totally confident that George is going to win," Booth said.
