According to the Grand Rapids Press , the rescheduled fight between super middleweights Andre Dirrell and Arthur Abraham is going to take place in Detroit - in either the Cobo Arena or Joe Louis Arena. The fight was previously scheduled to happen on March 6 at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. Dirrell injured his back in training and asked for a short postponement. Showtime, who are televising the card, set it down for March 27.

The change allows Dirrell to gain the hometown advantage. Abraham-Dirrell is part of the Super Six tournament. Abraham had the home court in his first Super Six fight last year, when he knocked out Jermain Taylor in Germany. Dirrell had to fight on Carl Froch's home field of Nottingham. He lost a very close decision.
