The super middleweight fight between Arthur Abraham and Carl Froch is being pushed for the Bell Centre in Canada on September 18. BoxingScene.com reported over the weekend that Abraham vs Froch was being discussed for Montreal to settle the ongoing dispute over the site. Abraham-Froch is part of the third stage of fights in Showtime's Super Six Boxing Classic.

Froch told The Sun - "I'm more than happy to go to Canada because all I want is a fair crack. I won't fight anywhere in Europe unless it's Britain. They're looking at a neutral venue. It's my turn to fight at home and I'm not fighting Abraham in Germany. London or Manchester would be classed as a neutral venue because I'm from Nottingham - and of course I would be happy for the fight to take place there."

Golzka reports that neither Sauerland Event [promoters of Abraham] or Showtime have given their final approval for a venue in Canada. Sauerland has pointed out a few times a clause in the contract which calls for a venue in Europe.
