"King" Arthur Abraham is confident his fight with Carl Froch will take place in Germany on August 21, 2010. Abraham was counting on Mikkel Kessler to beat Froch in Denmark. "If Froch wins, the fight is probably going to happen in Nottingham but if Mikkel wins, it's going to head to the 02 World in [Berlin] Germany," Abraham was quoted by Gazeta on Friday.
Abraham's stablemate pulled it off with a unanimous decision to take away the British fighter's WBC super middleweight title. If Froch loses again, he might lose his position in the semi-finals of the Super Six Boxing Classic. After Kessler won, Froch did not appear too happy with the judges. Most likley the British fighter will object to a German venue and insist the fight takes place in England.
