Aoh Edges Boschiero, Yamanaka and Igarashi Win

Yoyogi #2 Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan - WBC super featherweight champion Takahiro Aoh (22-2-1, 10KOs) retained his title with a tougher than expected win over previously undefeated Devis Boschiero (29-1-1, 14KOs). Aoh secured a twelve round split decision victory, with two judges scoring 115-113 in his favor, while the third judge had it 116-113 for the challenger.

Shinsuke Yamanaka (15-0-2, 11 KOs) captured the vacant WBC bantamweight title with an eleven round stoppage of Christian Esquivel (24-3, 18 KOs). Esquivel went down in the sixth, but then he dropped Yamanaka in the seventh, who came back to drop and stop the Mexican boxer in the eleventh for the win.

In a WBC super flyweight eliminator, Toshiyuki Igarashi (15-1-1, 10 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over tough Mexican contender Wilbelt Uicab (33-6-1, 18 KOs). The scores were 116-112, 114-113 and 116-111.

there goes Uicab and Esquivel so called mexican "prospects", thats what happens when all u do is fight limited bums

What a robbery!!! Boschiero clearly won the fight. After the announcement of the scorecards Aoh apologized to Boschiero for the verdict

# vg bouts missed, too bad as they all seemed very copetitive but US promoters will never give up the $$ to bribg thses exciting Japanese boxers here...good luck to them...

Too bad these fights weren't televised in and around the Osaka regions. All I can do for now is wait for someone very kind to upload them onto YouTube.
