Antonio Margarito vs. Jorge Paez Jr. on beIN SPORTS en Espanol

After four years out of the boxing ring, “El Tornado de Tijuana” Antonio Margarito, will make his highly anticipated return to the ring on beIN SPORTS en Español.

Margarito’s career has been full of memorable hard fought battles, drama and controversy. A devastating eye injury that required surgery forced him into retirement in 2011. He now wants to prove that his recovery is complete and will fight fellow Mexican Jorge “El Maromerito” Páez, son of the colorful former world champion Jorge “Maromero” Páez, in what promises to be a memorable bout in Mexico City on Saturday March 5th.

Margarito (38-8, 27 KOs), who turns 38 on March 18th, has faced an impressive list of opponents in his illustrious career including Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Roberto Garcia, Kermit Cintrón, Shane Mosley and Joshua Clottey.

Margarito’s comeback will be available to U.S. viewers on both beIN SPORTS en Español and beIN SPORTS CONNECT. Special coverage will be anchored by Andrés Bermúdez who will be providing his always-electrifying play-by-play.

It's usually sad watching a fighter come back after such a long lay off, too old, too slow, a shadow of their former selves. Not in Margarito's case though. More like schadenfreude, because he's a dirty, cheating scumbag.
