Josh Kelly has had his next fight confirmed.

Kelly, who has four early finishes on his unblemished ledger to date, was last in action before Christmas at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London when he stopped Jean Michel Hamilcaro.

But we will see him back later this month after his promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that he has been added to the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s world heavyweight title defence against Joseph Parker.

Joshua, the IBF, WBA Super and IBO world champion, faces WBO champion Parker, of New Zealand, in a unification showdown at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office.

And ‘PBK’ will see action on that bill, with Hearn disclosing via a live video on Instagram on Friday that work is ongoing at this stage regarding his opponent.

David Price faces Alexander Povetkin on the card, for the latter’s WBA Inter-Continental and WBO International heavyweight titles and the number one spot with the WBA, while Joe Cordina faces Andy Townend for the vacant WBA International lightweight title, there is expected to be action for former world champion Anthony Crolla, Sean McGoldrick has been added and Ryan Burnett will face Yonfrez Parejo in a defence of the WBA ‘Super’ world title in the bantamweight division.

Further additions to the card will be revealed in due course.

Meanwhile, Sam Eggington will not fight on Saturday.

The Birmingham man, who was set to make his super-welterweight debut, was meant to feature on the undercard of Kell Brook’s return.

Brook faces Sergey Rabchenko, exclusively live on Sky Sports, at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield and the former European welterweight champion was meant to make his comeback on the undercard.

But Eggington was ruled out after “having an accident on his bike,” according to promoter Eddie Hearn, and a new date is reportedly being worked on for the 24-year-old, who was beaten by Mohamed Mimoune last October in Manchester.
