Angulo vs. Lara To Co-Headline Maidana-Lopez Card

According reports in the Mexican media, Mexican junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo (22-2, 18KOs) will get a very tough test when he faces Erislandy Lara (17-1-2, 11KOs) of Cuba on June 8 at the Homde Depot Center in Carson, California. The match will be the Showtime televised co-feature to the welterweight encounter between Marcos Maidana and Josesito Lopez. The news was first reported by Gabriel Montoya of maxboxing.com.

I like Angulo,the guy is all guts and determination and comes to fight but I see a very probable late stoppage/loopsided UD for Lara.

I think the Pressure can give Lara some problems, but Angulo Pressure is RECKLESS he leaves himself open for any and every punch and he is extremely flat footed and slow, a counter puncher like Lara will be able to…
