Sam's Town Casino, Las Vegas - In the main event of the evening, Angelo Leo (17-0) cruised to an unanimous decision victory against an overmatched Neil Tabanao (17-5).

After wins by his Mayweather Promotions’ stablemates in the first row televised fights, Leo closed the show in dominant fashion. The final scores were 100-90 twice and 99-91.

Leo started off patiently, landing one-twos at a controlled pace in the first. Tabanao felt the power and didn’t offer much return fire.

The second round started off similarly and it wasn’t until the second half of the round when Tabanao finally landed a few shots of his own.

Leo continued to control the distance throughout the middle rounds, boxing off of his back foot. A few of his punches strayed south of the border which earned a warning from referee Jay Nady.

Leo began to pick up the pace in the second half of the fight and started to come forward which put Tabanao in retreat mode. Tabanao continued to fight in spurts but couldn’t put together his punches.

The Albuquerque native began to pour it on late in the 8th as he pinned the Filipino against the ropes. Tabanao looked exhausted in the 9th and ended up back on the ropes. Leo landed 38 punches to only 5 for Tabanao. The 10th was more of the same in an easy victory for Leo.
