IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz has been looking pretty slim in several social media photos posted over the course of the last few weeks.
Ruiz is training hard for his highly anticipated rematch with former champion Anthony Joshua.
Back on June 1, Ruiz pulled of a massive upset when he dropped Joshua four times to secure a seventh round stoppage at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The rematch has been set down for December 7th in Saudi Arabia.
The first time around, Joshua took the fight on late notice after original opponent Jarrell Miller was pulled for failing a drug test.
Most experts believe Joshua will stay at a distance in the rematch, working his jab to outbox the smaller man over the twelve round distance. Ruiz wants to be ready for that, by being physically capable of catching up to Joshua to connect with his quick punch combinations from the mid-range or on the inside.
"Andy's weight is coming down," his personal nutritionist and chef Zo's Meal Plans told Sky Sports. "He's working really hard in the gym which is a factor.
"His diet? Fish, salmon, pasta on sparring days. Once in a while we have had a cheat day but nothing too crazy, man. The goal is to keep him eating clean, keep him eating healthily. Feeling light is what we're going for. We want to keep him light.
"We're not targeting a specific weight - maybe the same weight or a little bit less. But we want to feel light so it's easier for him to move on his feet."
