Home Depot Center, Carson, California - Heavyweight prospect Andy Ruiz Jr. (15-0, 9KOs) stopped Jonte Willis (8-3-1, 3KOs) in the eight and final round. Ruiz worked hard and wore Willis down until he pinned him against the ropes in the eight and unleashed a flurry of power shots to force the referee's intervention.

Welterweight contender Brad Solomon (18-0, 7KOs) made his return to the ring and won an eight round unanimous decision over Hector Munoz (10-8-1, 13KOs). Munoz went down in the second. The scores were 79-71, 77-73 and 78-72.

Super lightweight Jose Roman (14-0, 11KOs) knocked Rodolfo Armenta (11-8-1, 9KOs) out cold with a wicked counter at 1:23 of round five. Armenta was down for at least two minutes but walked out on his own.

Lightweight Eric Flores (4-1-1,1KO) won a four round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Raymond Nichol (3-1-1, 2KOs). The scores were 40-36, 40-35, 40-36.

In a battle of undefeated super lightweights, Moris Rodriguez (3-1-1, 2KOs) appeared to have the edge but fell short on the cards, losing a six round unanimous decision to KeAndre Gibson (7-0-1, 3KOs). All three judges had it 58-56.

In a featherweight contest, prospect Victor Pasillas (2-0, 1KOs) stopped Jesus Adame (2-10, 0K) in the third round of action. Adame went down in the second round and was taking a beating when the fight was stopped at 2:35 in the third.
