VERONA, N.Y. - The six fighters, including main eventers Ruslan “The Siberian Rocky” Provodnikov and John “The Gladiator” Molina, who will compete on this Saturday’s SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® tripleheader live on SHOWTIME® (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT), participated in the final press conference Thursday at Turning Stone Resort Casino here.

DISTRITO, Mexico -- Mexico's Mario Heredia was denied a chance to prove that he is a top heavyweight contender when an injury forced him to withdraw from the 2015 Boxcino Heavyweight tournament

(CORONA, Calif.) - Bang! A Teddy Atlas catch-phrase is how the last bout of the 'Friday Night Series' ended. A hard right hand by Andrey Fedesov exploded down onto Donovan Dennis, dropping him to the canvas and ultimately stopping him in the eighth round before a boisterous crowd on a cold night at the Omega Products International. Not only was the Fedesov-Dennis bout the last in the 17 year series, but Fedesov was crowned the Boxcino heavyweight champion.

The series finale of ESPN2 Friday Night Fights is capped by the final edition of Boxcino tournament action in the heavyweight and junior middleweight division. In the land of the big boys, Andrey Fedosov and Donovan Dennis will throw down to see who will be the last heavyweight standing in the main event at Omega Products International in Corona, California. Between the two finalists, there exits just 10 combined rounds of ring action.

This Friday, ESPN2 (10 PM EST/7 PM PST) brings boxing fans the finals of the 2015 Boxcino tournaments at Jr. Middleweight and Heavyweight. They also bring us the end of an era. There has long been boxing on ESPN and that doesn’t end this week. Al Haymon’s PBC will take the reins at the ‘worldwide leader’ later this year and we’ll see where that goes. Boxing will go on. “Friday Night Fights” as we have known it will be no more. If that provokes some feelings of melancholy or a touch of sentimentality, well, good. The show that launched in 1998 has gone through various changes over the years and there have been some bad nights.
