Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - European champion Agit Kabayel (24-0, 16 KOs) pulled off an unexpected shocker with a fourth round knockout of undefeated puncher Arslanbek Makhmudov (18-1, 17 KOs) in four rounds.

Kabayel was picking his punches well in the first round, as he circled and used his faster hands while staying away from Makhmudov's power. Makhmudov was able to land with a punch or two, which Kabayel took well.

Makhmudov did a little better in the second with connects. Kabayel was still using his quicker hands and feet to create problems for the bigger man. In the third, Kabayel landed a big uppercut that Makhmudov took well. Kabayel then connected with several big punches that staggered Makhmudov back to the ropes. Kabayel was really working over Makhmudov with punches to the head and body as the round concluded.

In the fourth, Kabayel was pushing back Makhmudov and dropped the big man with a big shot to the body. Makhmudov got up, but he appeared to be in serious trouble. He was being punished with shots to the head and body and it wasn't long before he went down for a second time.

After getting back to his feet, another combination to the body would send Makhmudov down for a third time and the referee rightfully stepped in to wave off the fight.
