Former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley is a mutual opponent for Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs). Mosley lost to both by twelve round decision. On September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Mayweather will once again move up in weight to challenge Canelo for his WBC/WBA junior middleweight titles at a catch-weight of 152-pounds.

Mosley says the much younger, less experienced Canelo has all of the necessary tools to defeat Mayweather.

"Canelo definitely has the goods to beat Floyd Mayweather. He's young, he's strong, he has good speed, good power. He has all of the ability to beat Floyd. He just has to go in there and beat him. He can't be like 'Floyd is smaller than me and I'm going to walk him down and beat him.' He has to treat this fight like he's fighting the best fighter in the world - because he really is," Mosley told Bernardo Osuna of Nacion.
