At the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, Paul "The Punisher" Williams (34-1, 25 KOs) avenged his sole loss in impressive fashion by blowing out Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19 KOs) in one-round to recapture the WBO welterweight title.

Williams started fast by landing his right hand to get his groove going, but it was his left hand that sent Quintana into a daze as several follow-up shots put the Puerto Rican champion down. Quintana was able to beat the count, but he never recovered.

Moments later, dozens of unanswered punches put Quintana away as the referee jumped in to stop the fight as Quintana was going down again. This past February, Quintana upset Williams by a twelve-round decision. Williams gets his revenge and is back in the top mix of the welterweight division.
