Pablo Munguia's day job is digging graves, but it was Tony Harrison who nailed the coffin shut in their scheduled 10 round bout on Friday night.

Harrison stopped Munguia in the third round at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn.

Harrison, who was at about six or seven inches taller than Munguia, tried to work from the outside as the southpaw Munguia tried to do what he could to get on the inside.

Munguia would find some success by landing a few wide left hooks and crosses to the head. Towards the end of the second round, Harrison stepped back enough, landing a counter right hand to the head that dropped Munguia to both knees. Munguia got up on wobbly legs and barely made it back to his corner.

After a ringside physician checked on Munguia in between rounds, the action continued in the third. As Harrison greeted Munguia with punches to start the third round, referee Arthur Mercante Jr. stepped in and stopped the bout at 13 seconds.

Harrison improves to 21-0, 18 KOs, while Munguia drops to 20-7, 11 KOs.

Junior featherweight Danny Aquino won a hard-fought eight round split decision over Ryan Kielczewski.

Early on, Kielczewski was able to beat Aquino to the punch, landing counter right hands to the head of Aquino. As the bout progressed, Aquino tried to walk down Kielczewski. By the third round, Aquino began landing more left hooks to the body of Kielczewski.

The momentum shifted in the middle rounds as Aquino began backing Kielczewski up. Although Kielczewski was able to continue to land his share of rights, Aquino's body work began to show. Kielczewski's punch output dropped, allowing Aquino to throw and land more.

Both fighters had their moments in the final two rounds. Very good two-way exchanges took place between the two fighters, although it looked as though Aquino's punches has more impact on them.

One judge scored the bout 78-74 in favor of Kielczewski, while the other two judges scored the bout 78-74 in favor of Aquino, who improves to 17-2, 10 KOs. Kielczewski loses for the first time as a pro, dropping to 22-1, 6 KOs.

Tevin Farmer continues to win and claimed another unbeaten fighter.

Farmer won a one-sided eight round unanimous decision over Angel Luna in junior lightweight action.

It was all Farmer from the opening bell, as the southpaw from Philadelphia landed at will against Luna. Farmer, who has won his last 12 bouts in a row, was able to connect with hooks or straight left hands to the head, also landing to the body as the bout progressed.

Anytime Luna tried to launch a rally, Farmer easily countered to the head and body, especially in the last couple of rounds when Luna pressed the action.

All three judges scored the bout in favor of Farmer, 80-72, 80-72, and 79-72.

Farmer improves to 19-4-1, 4 KOs, while Luna drops to 10-1-1, 6 KOs.
