Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport would like to have former champion Ricky Burns (36-4-1, 11KOs) fighting outside of Scotland. But if there is one fight that Hearn would absolutely love to make in Scotland - it's against Burns' countryman Scott Harrison (27-3-2, 15KOs). The fight would be a big ticket draw in Scotland, which Hearn, as a promoter, would view as an opportunity that is too good to turn down. Burns' career took a huge hit last Friday when he lost his second consecutive fight, to unknown Dejan Zlaticanin.

"Should, as we expect, Scott Harrison have his licence re-granted, then that may be the only fight for Ricky in Scotland. It is a fight that would still sell-out any arena north of the border and one that has been talked about potentially for the last few years," said Hearn to Herald Scotland.

"A fight with Harrison would be a great way back for Ricky as now he is probably three fights away from a world title and has to work his way back in. But there are other big domestic fights out there for him and realistically that is what we are now looking at for Ricky."
