WBO and WBA super bantamweight World champion Guillermo " The Jackal" Rigondeaux continues his training in South Miami for his upcoming fight against Thai veteran Sod Kokietgym, taking place on July 19th in Macau, China.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum officially announced the match, which is the last fight for Rigondeaux under his Top Rank contract:

"Mr. Arum has performed his work, now I'm going to do mine," Rigondeaux said in Miami.

"We've never had any problems on our team, we have always said that we are ready to defend our titles against those who want get into the ring and it doesn't matter if it's in China, United States or Greece - we will go there to put the titles on the line" added Rigondeaux.

Cuban trainer Jorge Rubio was leading the workouts of Rigondeaux and said:

"We will see the same fighter as always, we are working on the continuity of his combinations. And if Kiotketgym arrives with the intention of winning that fight, boxing fans will notice the impressive results very earlier that night in Macau on July 19th."

Rigondeaux is always accompanied by a large group of his followers at his workouts, as they show their support for one of the most talented fighters in the sport.
