London - Adam Battle wants to “make a statement” on the James DeGale undercard at Glow, Bluewater, Saturday 16th November.

The unbeaten 26-year-old has been stepping up his training and hopes to deliver a stoppage win.

“My preparation has been great, I’ve upped it for the last few weeks, we still have two weeks to go, so I’ll be more than ready,” Adam said.

“I can’t wait for it, I want to make a statement and put my name out there.”

The Aldershot fighter boasts a perfect seven wins from seven contests and hopes to make number eight his best yet.

“Win number eight is the aim, I’d love to do that and depending on how it goes, hopefully a stoppage as well,” Adam said.

“I’d like to show the fans and everybody else a good stoppage.”

Adam fights on the undercard to James DeGale MBE’s WBC Silver super middleweight title defence against ‘Dangerous’ Dyah Davis at Glow, Bluewater on Saturday 16th November, featuring an all-star line up, live on Channel 5 from 10pm.
